It’s time for an incredible Ferrari V12 showdown!
We’ve got our hands on a 12Cilindri Spider, an 812 GTS, an F12, and a 599 GTB, and they’re about to go head-to-head over the quarter mile!
The question is, will the more recent releases leave the others in their wake? Or could the F12 or 599 spring a surprise on the others? Let’s take a closer look at the stats…
Starting with the 599 GTB, it’s powered by a 6-litre NA V12 that delivers 620hp and 608Nm. It’s the only car here without a dual-clutch gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,690kg. When new way back in 2006, it cost around £172,000.
Next up is the F12 Berlinetta. It’s equipped with a 6.3-litre NA V12, and this delivers 740hp and 690Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and it’s the lightest car here, weighing in at 1,630kg. Back in 2012, it cost around £240,000.
Following this, we have the 812 GTS. It’s powered by a 6.5-litre NA V12, and this creates 800hp and 718Nm. Power’s sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and it weighs in at 1,700kg. When new in 2019, it cost around £293,000.
Finally, we come to the 12Cilindri. Like the 812 GTS, it has a 6.5-litre NA V12, and this puts down 830hp and 678Nm. This is sent to the rears by an 8-speed dual-clutch, and it’s the heaviest car here, weighing in at around 1,720kg. In 2024, it cost around £366,000.
So will the newer 812 & 12Cilindri walk it? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
