Vi har nu fulgt projektet fra Hennessey gennem hele 2010 og mod slutningen af året, er den lille Veyron-killer klar til bestilling. Men skynd dig, der bliver rift om den da den kommer i begrænset antal.

Bilen skal slås mod de store drenge som, Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Zonda og Koenigsegg CCX og overrasker endnu engang med en lille film hvor den bliver testet på Hennessey’s rullefelt. På rullefeltet formår den tidligere Lotus Elise, med en tilpasset Corvette ZR1 motor, at skyde en halv meter lang flamme. Projektet er nu virkelighed, selv om John Hennessey startede det hele som en lille joke.
“One day I joked about putting the Venom 1000 Twin Turbo engine in the back of a Lotus Exige. Then I thought, let’s do a sketch and see what that might look like. When I saw the sketch I stopped laughing and really started to seriously think about this idea. We then had a few more detailed renderings made. And when I saw these drawings, I thought to myself, we can build this car with 1000+ hp and a weight well under 3000 lbs”
